This week on America Outdoors Radio we will share a moving conversation with Bill Evans about the special hunts he enjoyed with his late daughter, Arianna, one of them with the help of the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation. Brian Lynn with the Sportsmen's Alliance sounds the alarm about a lawsuit filed by an environmentalist group against the U.S. fish and Wildlife Service that could deny anglers and hunters access and opportunities at our National Wildlife Refuges. On the fishing front the lowland lakes opener for trout happens this Saturday and Steve Caromile with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will tell you about this popular fishing event along with the annual trout derby taking place from now through October. We'll take you to the weigh-in of the Mt. St. Helens Bassmasters Big Bass Tournament that took place April 9th at Eastern Washington's Potholes Reservoir. Club President Phil Martin will tell you how the tournament went and share details about their bass club. Rusty Johnston and I discuss our performance on tournament day and then we'll get a chance to talk to the winners of the event who took home a paycheck of over $5,000.
