Host John Kruse goes to Whidbey Island where he explores Fort Casey and Fort Ebey State Parks. John also goes crabbing with friends, catches some nice pink salmon right off the beach and goes for a short but fun boat ride with Deception Pass Tours with an emphasis on both local history and wildlife. Last and definitely not least, John checks out the menu at Callen's a restaurant a short walk from the campground at Fort Casey that emphasizes locally sourced seafood in their meals. For the record, their Dungeness crab omelet is the best omelet I've ever had!

One of them is with Paul Weamer, who talks about fly fishing and flies to use in Yellowstone National Park. We'll also talk to the author of "The Disabled Hikers Guide to Western Washington and Oregon" and share a fresh interview with Shelby Ross, a walleye guide who owns Ross Outdoor Adventures.
